Factors that cause defects in titanium plates during rolling

Titanium plate surface defects have conventional defects and unconventional defects two categories.

Unconventional defects are:

  4. 2, acid spot

  5. Reason: a kind is when pickling, residual acid is not washed clean, sheet drying form.One is the plate in the annealing into the pile, the surface oxidation is not uniform, after pickling surface corrosion degree is not consistent.

  6. Measures: pickling must be clean, to ensure no residual acid surface drying;Reduce stack thickness to ensure uniform annealing of sheet;Also can use sanding treatment, to save the late treatment.

  7. Conventional defects are:

  9. Reason: guide plate, roller table, tools and roll are not smooth, adhesive or angular burr, rolling scratch surface;Careless operation, so that the collision form scratch surface.

  10. Measures: check the tools, guide plate, roller table and roll before rolling, and clear away the problems in time;Careful operation, do not disorderly pull disorderly bump.

  11. 2. Metal presser

  12. Reason: the burr at the edge of the rolled part and the dross at the end are pressed into the surface of the product.

  13. Measures: remove burrs and surface foreign bodies on the edge of slab in time.Split edge, split head cut off in time.

  14. 3. Non-metallic presser

  15. Reasons: poor environmental hygiene, dust foreign body fell on the surface of the rolled part;After acid washing, the cleaning is not clean.

  16. Measures: do a good job of hygiene, remove the surface adhesion of rolling parts in time.

  17. 4, roller mark

  18. Reason: roll surface wear serious, there are pits, pockmarks, scratches, etc.;The surface of the roll is hollowed out by the corner of the plate.

  19. Measure: find roll mark, want to repair grind or change roll.

  20. 5. Pits and spots

  21. Cause: dust and foreign matter on the surface of pressing plate or backing plate during annealing.

  22. Measures: before entering the furnace, remove pressing plate and backing plate surface in time.
